We are introducing "Coalignment as a Service", an innovative solution aimed at democratizing access to precise and efficient sample preparation. Through this service, research institutions and laboratories can ask us to coalign crystals for a specified fee, enabling them to utilize cutting-edge automation without the upfront investment in equipment. It is a cost-effective and flexible alternative for laboratories that require high-quality sample preparation for their experiments, ensuring access to advanced technology tailored to their specific needs.

Easy scaling of the number of crystals
Laboratories often coalign hundreds of samples by hand. For a successful experiment thousands of samples will be much better. If you can grow the crystals, we can coalign them.
How long will it take
Usually coaligned samples (500-2000 crystals) can be achieved within 14 days (including machine tuning and optimization).
Service will include:
- quality check of all crystals
- glueing
- mosaicity analysis of the glued crystals
- detailed logbook of the whole process
Quality checked by neutron scattering using IN12
Over 300 crystals coaligned (mass over 3 g) in a 5 days. Final mosaicity was under 2°.
Usually crystal assembly of roughly 1000 crystals will cost around 10 000 €.
